Subaru has introduced the Crossover 7 concept at the Tokyo Motor Show.
Designed to preview a possible Tribeca successor, the Crossover 7 follows in the footsteps of the Outback
and adopts a wagon-like design with plastic body cladding. The styling
may not win everyone over but the model has also been equipped with a
prominent grille and a tailgate-mounted spoiler.
As the name suggests, the Crossover 7 has a seven-seat interior that is "roomy" and "elegant."
Pictures were not released but Subaru says the model has "smooth tan
leather seats that will bring out the desire to go for a drive in any
adult."
Power is provided by horizontally-opposed 2.5-liter engine that is
connected to a Lineartronic continuously variable transmission and a
symmetrical all-wheel drive system.
