According to a recent report, Nissan will unveil a new 370Z at the Tokyo Motor Show.
Nissan has remained coy about details, but Al Ain Japan says the
model will debut later this month and be faithful to its "traditional
roots." That's a little vague but the magazine says we can expect a
turbocharged engine that displaces less than the current 3.7-liter V6.
Despite being smaller, the engine will reportedly be as powerful as the
current mill which cranks out 332 bhp (247 kW) and 270 lb-ft (365 Nm) of
torque.
Nissan Executive Vice President Andy Palmer also confirmed there will
be a Nismo variant but declined to go into specifics. However, he has previously said Nismo variants have distinctive styling, a sport-tuned suspension and a "power hike of around 15 percent."
