The Los Angeles Auto Show is right around
the corner and Honda has announced plans to introduce the FCEV concept
at the annual event.
Designed to preview the company's next-generation fuel-cell electric vehicle, the aptly named FCEV concept has a futuristic design with an angular grille and a rakish windscreen.
According to Mike Accavitti, senior vice president of Honda Motor
America, "The Honda FCEV concept demonstrates the company's vision for
the future of personal mobility and our commitment to developing
advanced alternative fuel vehicles." He added, "Our long-term experience
with fuel-cell technologies will help us pave a way towards a
zero-emissions future."
The production model will be launched in the United States and Japan in 2015 and will eventually be offered in Europe.
