Could eventually go into production
According to a recent report, Nissan will unveil a Toyota 86 / Subaru BRZ competitor at the Tokyo Motor Show.
Al Ain Japan says the model will be a production-like concept that borrows styling cues from the company's past. That's a little vague but Nissan has reportedly confirmed it won't be a "Z" car.
The concept was reportedly designed to gauge customer reaction to an entry-level sports car. If the results are favorable, the model could go into production with a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine that develops 197 bhp (147 kW).

The model is expected to be shown alongside another concept which is simply being described as "crazy."
Either way, Nissan should have some excitement in store for enthusiasts when the Tokyo show rolls around. Always a good thing

A little
turbo engine in a small, rear-wheel drive sports car? Sure. That would
be great. If you like it, you know, react well to it so Nissan builds
it.
There
were fewer details on the "crazy" sports car. This is purely a guess on
my part, but maybe it will be some kind of new GT-R? We've heard that
the Nismo GT-R, which can supposedly hit zero to 60 mph in a stunning two seconds, is also coming to the Tokyo show next month.
