Lexus has announced the 2014 CT 200h
will be priced from $32,050 - excluding a $910 processing and handling
fee - when it goes on sale in the United States early next year.
Recently unveiled at the Guangzhou Motor Show, the face-lifted model
has a new front bumper and a spindle grille that matches the rest of the
Lexus lineup. The car has also been equipped with LED daytime running
lights, a larger rear spoiler, a shark fin antenna and 17-inch alloy
wheels.
If that's not sporty enough, the CT 200h F Sport has a mesh grille, a
distinctive rear spoiler and a contrasting black roof. There's also
"mesh fog lamp inserts" and two-tone alloy wheels.
Interior changes are relatively limited but the model has improved
speakers and an updated infotainment system. Other highlights include a
new steering wheel, a redesigned shifter and additional metallic
accents.
Power is provided by a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine that is backed
up by a 650 Volt motor/generator. This setup enables the model to have a
combined maximum output of 134 bhp (100 kW) and an EPA-estimated fuel
economy rating of 43 mpg city / 40 mpg hwy / 42 mpg combined (US).
