Toyota has managed to maintain its position as the world's most valuable automotive brand

Toyota has managed to maintain its position as the world's most valuable automotive brand. They beat off stiff competition from BMW and Mercedes to take the top spot. German brands dominate the top 10 with half of them coming from the European country.

 Toyota beats German rivals as most valuable auto brand

According to the report, Toyota's brand is worth $35.3 billion which also makes it the 10th most valuable of all brands.

In the overall list, Coca-Cola has slipped from top spot down to third after being overtaken by Apple and Google respectively after the tech giants achieved massive brand growth in the past 10 months.
